The Nicholls Compliance Office is committed to assisting student-athletes during their athletic and academic collegiate experience. This section of the Nicholls Compliance Office website is intended to help currently enrolled student-athletes understand and act in accordance with NCAA, Southland and University rules. Please review these materials carefully, and contact the Compliance Office with any questions or concerns.

Pursuant to NCAA Bylaw 12.02.13, an enrolled student-athlete is an individual whose enrollment was solicited by a member of the athletics staff or other representative of athletics interests with a view toward the student's ultimate participation in the intercollegiate athletics program. Any other student becomes a student-athlete only when the student reports for an intercollegiate squad that is under the jurisdiction of the athletics department.
