Colonels Visit Napoleonville Elementary

THIBODAUX – Several members of the Nicholls State University football program recently visited students at Napoleonville Primary Elementary who were being rewarded for their good behavior and grades.

Along with playing games with the students, the players and coaches spoke to the children about being a good person, listening to their teachers and the importance of doing well in school.

“This was a great opportunity for our young men to interact with the local community and provide an important message to these students,” Nicholls football head coach Charlie Stubbs said. “I know we enjoyed the experience as much as the students did.”

Members of the Colonel football program who attended the event were quarterbacks Beaux Hebert and Hayden Cardiff, wide receivers Andrew Wynn and LaQuintin Caston, defensive linemen Marlon Williams and Andrew Carter, linebacker Ryan Bruno, safety Siegan Vergenal and coaches Justin Anderson, Ricky Brumfield and Matt Clark.
