THIBODAUX - Starting today, local fast food restaurants will be handing out flyers in drive-thru bags promoting Nicholls State University football, the Colonels' new online merchandise store and football season ticket sales. Ten thousand flyers will be distributed in ten fast food locations including Raising Cane's and Domino's in Thibodaux, and eight local McDonald's.

“Our corporate sponsors are helping us raise awareness of Nicholls football in our local area while also helping us promote our new Nicholls Gear online store,” said Associate Director of Marketing and Development Brandon Ruttley.

The flyers include samples of the merchandise that can be purchased through Nicholls' online store, nichollsgear.com, a copy of the Nicholls home football schedule and official pricing of football season tickets.

“We would like to thank McDonald's, Raising Cane's and Domino's for everything they do as well as their continuing support of Nicholls Athletics,” Ruttley said.
